why does nobody recompile the emulator?

Postby NoProff » Wed Dec 14, 2005 7:56 pm

Im asking myself this question for quite a time. (since my loox 600 broke down an Snes wont properly run on my hx4700)

Most problems should be compatibility issues with those new gpus and cpus, not to mention the high resolution displays. The processing power is awailable, but somehow no one wants to make an advantage out of it.

Hell 600mhz+ an gpu coprocessors should be fast enough for fluid gameplay with sound emulation.
Imagine it to be war...an nobody's showing up.

It runs perfect on my XV6700. The problems I have with PocketSNES have always been there. But I absolutely agree with you, some one needs to pick this up. It's about that time.

Yo its not just the proccessing power that PocketSNES is not taking advantage of .... There is a gamepad (bluetooth) made just for smartphones, ppc phones that emulates a Super Nintendo controller is also not being taking advantage of!!! It works and plays PocketSNES but you can't disable the button screen to enjoy the extra screen space.

There is not a PocketSNES fan out there that would not enjoy this gamepad.

Let's start asking programmers out there. Unfortunately I don't any available. I know one, but he's too busy building new super computers from old parts.

Good luck on your HX4700. Maybe it can play Playstation games.

Not much. Some things dont make sense. Why does the iPod nano cost more than the T9? Who knows.
